About the association

Par Le Monde is a French association recognized as being of public utility founded in 2013. Approved by the French Ministry of National Education, supported by AFD and the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs, and accredited by the OIF, Par Le Monde works at the intersection of the fields of popular education, citizenship education, international solidarity and digital and cultural exchanges.

The association’s mission is to provide educational responses to the challenge of living together. By lHow to use

, the association weaves cultural links between students, in the hope of opening their minds
about the world and to teach them to be curious, tolerant, humble and responsible.

Since 2014, Par Le Monde has been seeking to give primary school children, particularly those in situations where they are
geographical and/or social isolation, the means of exchanging with others, thanks to innovative digital tools.
These exchanges allow them to dialogue and learn to live together regardless of their origins.

The association therefore has four main objectives that it strives to implement, particularly through the platform

Fight against social and territorial divides by allowing students in rural areas to benefit from an opening
on the world; pupils from peri-urban areas to reclaim their own heritage and to address the notion of identity
cultural in a positive way; and it is up to everyone to create links between children who do not have the opportunity to rub shoulders.

Prevent academic failure through new, more active and collaborative ways of learning by discovering
other cultures and by sharing one’s own culture. Restoring confidence, motivation and knowing how to live together.

Promote living together by preventing racism and valuing diversity through intercultural dialogue such as
educational lever.

Train in a better use of digital technology by using innovative pedagogical techniques that facilitate the

training teachers and students in the challenges of current digital technology.

Since its creation, Par Le Monde strives to take into account the various factors of inequality by being as much as possible
inclusive
. This multi-faceted approach is reflected in theIntegration of the different causes of inequality

the projects developed by Par Le Monde, whether territorial, social, economic, cultural or
still linguistic.

By Le Monde thus promotes cultural diversity in order to reduce inequalities related to origins, gender or even gender.

In addition, each year, Par Le Monde takes care to select classes from all the
territories of the participating countries, and promotes the integration of peri-urban and rural areas in trade.

This year, about 6000 children aged 7 to 11 and living in 14 different countries are benefiting from the actions carried out
by the association.


Par Le Monde currently has five employees on permanent contracts, three work-study students, one work-study student, 4 civic service volunteers, as well as six FTEs in skills sponsorship. About 35 volunteers provide regular support to the association’s missions, particularly in the context of tech development or in the form of mediation on the online exchange platform.

Project Team:
As part of the management of the CiDEC project, the association’s Board of Directors mandates:
– The coordination of this project will also be supported by the various governance circles of the association. They
will be able to support employees according to their area of expertise: communication, international cooperation o
financing with, for example, the expertise of Romain Daumont or Noémie Govindin, also members of the Board of Directors,
on the budget monitoring of the project.
– The international project manager, to ensure follow-up and coordination
– The pedagogical project manager, who will bring his or her expertise on the creation of didactic tools and resources.
– The person responsible for educational projects to ensure the proper coordination of the project
